What are required for a housing project?

You need a General Contractor if you have all these questions! First and MOST important..did the soil test and perk out? A lot of islands can't hold the weight of a house because of the low water table. 2nd and equally as important...what type of foundation is being installed to hold this house? Usually concrete. Hows the concrete getting there? How deep does it need to go? Etc. 3rd another very important factor...who is putting in the septic system and again does the soil allow this? Did you hire a engneer to make sure you have the proper amount of seepage area? And what are you doing for water? A well on an island depending on where it is might not work. There's way too many issues here..find a small General Contractor that builds homes and hire him! Did you know that 71% of all couples that act as their own General Contractor end up in divorce? Do you want to make that 72%
