Is this thought of mine sinful or what?

My pastor once said the generational jeremiah live in is like that today but i totally disagree with that statement because i believe that if our generational was like his then people would`nt be freaking out with some of the things that goes on in out daily lifetime such as abortion,same marriages,and so forth.In Jeremiah times,they could`nt care less about what they were doing unlike today people sometimes have hugh moral panics over little stuff unlike Jeremiah people did.I believe also Romans were worsen than we are because they done stuff that we would`nt allowed in our society such as allowing girls to get marry at 14 and the gladiators fights they had at times.But we on the other hand don`t don`t allow such non sense into our life because that would be stupid.However though,even the Pagan Romans had a mourning over their youth at times also.Also if our society is like Sodom and Gotomth then have come every time people vote they against this and vote pro marriage,and also 51% of americans are against abortion and believe they should be illegal so how come christians don`t point this stuff out for?They don`t know how Lucky they have it here?Do i sound like a sinful person to you or a freethinker?
