Marine sues USMC for 30 million for abuse during boot camp...How will he prove his case?

I remember having to drink canteen after canteen of water in MCT and all that ever happened to anybody who got to full of water was they would vomit up water. Sounds the story is VERY exaggerated. I doubt that really happened.
